Mrs. JoBeth Crouch — Instructor & Choreographer

A native of Mecklenburg County, Virginia, JoBeth’s lifelong passion for dance began at Ballet Arts in Henderson, North Carolina, where she trained competitively throughout her youth. Her early dedication earned her a spot as one of the region’s first students selected for the Summer Residential Virginia Governor's School for the Arts in Dance

She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Radford University, where her original choreography was chosen to represent the university at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference. During her undergraduate years, JoBeth also served as Dance Captain during a summer internship with Theatre Arts Center in New York City. She later performed professionally with the award-winning production of The Lost Colony at the Waterside Theatre before earning her Master’s in Dance Education from UNCG.

Bringing 29 years of dance experience and a decade of teaching expertise to the studio, JoBeth spent six years in South Carolina establishing the Honors Dance curriculum at Clover High School. She co-founded and coached their competitive Sapphire Dance Team, and guided her dancers to perform in Dublin, Ireland for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Now back in her hometown, JoBeth serves as a School Interventionist at Mecklenburg County High School (MCHS). JoBeth is driven by a deep passion for working with high schoolers, and is thrilled to lead and expand the MCHS dance program. She hopes to create rich artistic opportunities for students across the area. Above all, JoBeth is dedicated to nurturing the whole child: shaping confident, empathetic learners while using the studio to build technical growth, strong character, and life lessons that extend far beyond the stage.
